We manufacture all our products in Oregon where we use Hydro-Electric Power.  All our Steve's packaging is recyclable; boxes, plastic and foil bags.  Our Steve's poly bags are made from polyester plastics with low-density polyethylene.  These are some of the easiest to recycle with a plastic no. 4.  Also, to produce raw foods uses much less energy than making most canned and kibble cooked pet foods.
