Sick English Bulldog

“Jack is our 9.5 year old English Bulldog. From when we got him at 12 weeks old, I always followed ALL of his Veterinarian’s recommendations for how to keep him healthy- including feeding him a kibble diet (because a raw diet would supposedly kill him- ha!). I noticed throughout the years, despite following all of these recommendations, Jack was getting sick and had chronic issues with skin infections, diarrhea, ear infections, kennel cough, vomiting. His vet brushed all of these issues off as normal, and said the English bulldogs were unfortunately just played with health issues. Jack is also a Bulldog with a small frame, but he was also a whopping 69lbs. Once again, his vet said that this was normal and the English bulldogs tended to be more on the overweight side by nature. He was only 5 years old at the time, and I was already fearful that my time with him was limited at the rate at which he was coming down with health issues. I knew there had to be another way, and I was not going to chalk it up to just him being an English Bulldog.

We have been exclusively feeding Jack Steve’s raw patties for more than four years now, as well as discontinuing basically all of our vet’s recommendations. He has gone from 69lbs to 45lbs, he breathes easier, he has perfect poops, his chronic skin infections and yeast infections in his ears have gone away. People don’t believe us when we tell them that he’s an almost 10-year-old Bulldog. Since starting to raw feed, it almost seems like he is aging in reverse. I hope we are lucky enough to have many more years with him due to your wonderful food. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for changing Jack’s health and life for the better!”
