Start with a clean, airtight container and portion your pet’s daily feeding amount into it. If feeding multiple times a day, divide the daily feeding amount by number of feedings per day.
Place the airtight container of raw food in the fridge overnight to thaw. *If you forget to thaw the food, you can add some warm water to the food or place the food in a bag submerged in warm water for a quick thaw.
Remove the thawed food from the fridge and serve it to your pet on a clean dish. Thoroughly wash your hands and sanitize all areas that come into contact with the raw food to promote a safe feeding environment.

For starters our dogs love eating raw. Bowls are always licked cleaned. We’ve noticed a HUGE difference in on of our pups who seemed to always looks heavier on a kibble diet which didn’t add up for us since we are very active. On raw he almost immediately looks slimmer. We think he does not do well on ultra processed diets like kibble. Definitely recommend if you’re active and your dog seems to struggle to lose weight or retain weight

I am so glad that Steve’s offers prey model frozen raw formulas! The turkey prey blend is a fan favorite in our household. Since switching to Steve’s from kibble, my dogs’ coats and muscle tone have improved significantly.
