My dogs go wild for Steve’s beef prey model blend! Although I feed my senior dog primarily leaner proteins like chicken and turkey (lower fat for her reduced activity level) I know that it’s important to rotate in different proteins regularly to keep her diet balanced. For that reason, I love keeping some of the beef blend on hand to add some important nutrient dense red meat into the rotation. My old girl gets extra peppy and excited when the beef prey formula is on the menu! I love feeding this formula to my younger high energy sport dog too, who needs the higher fat and protein content that the red meat delivers. He’s got great muscle tone and a shiny, luscious coat to show for it!

My dog, Jack, is super picky! But, he loves the Prey Model formulas!! I’m so happy to have found them. All the ingredients are so clean and wholesome too. Plus, I know he is getting a complete and balanced meal without the added fruits and veggies in the other formulas (he is my true carnivore boy).
